Where did it come from

Phil started this journey in 2014 into running an agency, due to daytime commitments the time just wasn’t right. He put the company into a dormant status and left it alone. Fast forward to 2020, he had a very casual client – UK Healing Crystals and a day job. Covid struck and was facing redundancy there was a choice to make, look for a job or push forward as a freelance consultant. He did both!

With a little bit of pushing from a few friends and encouragement from a few more he took a leap and started to build a small client base. That then took a leap and another and another to the point where I had more work than could be practically done, he added freelancers into the mix and that actually meant even more work. (And the job hunt had stopped).

There he was, a solo operator facing full-blown agencies for work.

The plan was to turn it into a limited company in April 2021, which got sped up to December ready to be announced in Feb 2021. The workload increased further with more and more time going into content and social strategies.

What we do

We do marketing that makes brands and companies sizzle! All of it, from the initial concepts to the campaigns from product launches to maintaining brand awareness.

My background is predominantly education-focused, but I have a passion for technology too! Bacon Marketing – Part 2

So being told the chances of being made redundant were very high so find a job. I looked and at my level and with my experience it was weirdly hard, I’m a generalist, not even a digital one, but full mix which makes job hunting incredibly hard as most companies want a specialist or don’t know what to do with me as I was already at director level.

My biggest strength, understanding the entire marketing mix and at the same time a burning desire to get people working in the right direction with strategy and a plan.
